Bangalore: A disturbing incident has come to light in Kalaburagi, Karnataka, where students from a government school have allegedly been subjected to menial tasks such as cleaning school toilets and performing gardening work at the principal's residence. The accused principal has purportedly been engaging in this exploitative behavior for an extended period, reportedly over the last year.

The affected school is one of the Maulana Azad Model schools established by the Karnataka government across the state under the Directorate of Minorities. The matter gained public attention when MD Zameer, the father of one of the students, took the initiative to file a formal complaint with the police. In his complaint, Zameer expressed deep concern over the reported exploitation of the students and urged a thorough investigation, demanding immediate action against the principal responsible for such actions.

According to Zameer, when parents confronted the principal regarding the students' involvement in cleaning tasks and gardening, she allegedly offered the explanation that there was a shortage of manpower in the cleaning department. Law enforcement authorities have acknowledged the seriousness of the allegations and have committed to conducting a meticulous investigation into the matter.
