United nation is an organization created to maintain international peace and promote human rights. It was founded in 1945 after the Second World War. The UN began with 51 countries and is now comprised of 193 member states. It reaches virtually every corner of the world. The best known for peacekeeping , peacebuilding , conflict prevention and humanitarian assistance. The United Nations has four main goals :

1. Keep peace throughout the world.

2. Develop friendly relations.

3. Assist Nation in encouraging human rights, helping the poor ,improving hunger disease and literacy.

4. Operate center for achieving these goal.

UN provides food for 90 million people in over 75 countries. They assist over 34 million refugees. They work with 140 nations to bring combat climate change. It vaccinates 58% of the world’s children. They keep 1.2 million people as a peace keepers in 4 continents. The UN assist about 50 countries per year in elections.

They protect human rights from different treaties and declaration. They fight poverty by helping 370 million rural poor. UN mobilizes $12.5 billion in humanitarian aid. And also they aid 30 million women a year by ‘ Maternal Health Efforts’.
