New Delhi: Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has prepared an anti-drone system, which has been deployed in Delhi for PM Narendra Modi security this year to protect against any drone attack. National security agencies can get a lot of help by ending the problem of drones through it. It is being told by sources that high technology has been used in the preparation of this drone.
With the help of this anti-drone system, security agencies will be able to deal with potential risks on a large scale. It is considered a big success for DRDO. DRDO has designed technology that can either bring down micro-drones through jamming commands or damage the electronics equipment of drones through laser-based guided energy warheads.
This system can detect micro-drones up to 3 kilometers and can set a target of 1 to 2.5 kilometers depending on the laser weapon capability. This can be an effective counter solution to increase drone based activity in the western and northern regions.
