New Delhi: Delhi Police had recovered 350 kg of heroin worth Rs 2500 crore on July 10 last. Now there is a new twist in this case. In fact, the flat from which the 350 kg heroin was seized from NSG VIHAR in Sector 65, Faridabad belongs to a commandant (BSF Commandant) of the flat BSF. The morale of the drug mafia was so high that they had set up their base in the posh locality for their illegal trade.

Gurpreet Singh and Gurjot Singh, accused of running a drugs syndicate, had rented the commandant's flat BSF 20 days ago through a broker. The special cell of the police had also seized two cars parked in the society. Faridabad police are now in the process of sending notices to BSF commandant. A notice will be sent asking if they had verified the smuggler stake holders. Faridabad police have prepared a notice, but the police are not getting the correct address of the BSF commandant nor the mobile number due to which the notice is yet to be sent.

The shocking thing is that the society from which thousands of crores of drugs have been found. It has flats for officers belonging to armed forces. Some IPS officers also have flats in the same society. Delhi Police will now remand and interrogate 4 drug mafias in the custody of special cell, DRI in the case. DIR had also recovered drugs worth thousands of crores a few days ago. Both cases are interlinked and the entire syndicate is operating from Portugal and Afghanistan. Three of the arrested accused have been arrested from Haryana and one has been arrested from Delhi. The accused are being questioned.
