ODISHA : The world of dance drama and music came to life at Kala Vikas Kendra cuttack odisha during Global Theatre Festival 2023 organised by Theatre Movement. Theatre movement association celebrated it's silver jubilee year with its annual 9 day extravaganza which started from 27 th January and closed with valedictory awards function on 4th January. This year around 20 multilingual plays; all Indian classical dance forms, modern, folk and semiclassical dance, all vocal, instrumental in hindustani and carnatic styles from 20 states were staged.

Drupad Dance Academy from Indore led by legendary Dancer Dr Ashish pillai competed with vigour & valour and won hearts and accolades. 

The 15 member all girls team enthralled the audience through their hard work and passion for dance.
Drupad Dance achieved a massive feat by becoming the champions and were honoured with All round performing best Team.

Our kid's hard work bore fruit with victory in Bharatnatyam Kathak Mohiniattam Folk Semiclassical categories in various age groups. Our  28 performance won various awards and it was a clean sweep. Proud of you kids.
