Rome: Italian motorcycle manufacturer Ducati has unveiled its most off-road-oriented two-wheeler the DesertX in India in an effort to broaden its lineup.
The ADV has an aggressive design and offers a variety of electronic riding aids like traction control and wheelie control as standout features.
It is powered by a 937cc, liquid-cooled, L-Twin engine with 110hp max output.

With numerous victories, the automotive giant Ducati has proved its mettle in cross-country competitions such as the Dakar Rally.
The bike maker's Multistrada line is already a favorite among adventure touring enthusiasts in India.
To drive sales, the DesertX ADV has recently been released. It competes with models like Honda Africa Twin and Triumph Tiger 900 Rally.
The Ducati DesertX features a sleek LED taillight, a side-slung exhaust, split-type seats, a twin-pod headlight, a raked windscreen, a bash plate and a semi-faired design.

The two-wheeler gets a 5.0-inch TFT instrument cluster and rides on heavy-duty wire-spoke wheels shod with tubeless tires that are 21-inch at the front and 18-inch at the rear. It displays two-tone colors.
The 937cc, liquid-cooled, Testastrata 11° Desmo L-twin engine that powers the Ducati DesertX produces a maximum output of 110 horsepower and 92 Nm of peak torque. A 6-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quick-shifter is mated to the mill.
For the safety of the rider, the Ducati DesertX features disc brakes on both front and rear wheels, cornering ABS, riding modes, wheelie control, traction control and engine brake control.

46 mm KYB upside-down forks, which are fully adjustable, and the mono-shock unit, which is located at the rear, are responsible for the ADV's suspension.
The all new Ducati DesertX price in India is Rs. 17.91 lakh for the single fully-loaded trim (ex-showroom). A large selection of optional accessories are available to allow further personalization of the two-wheeler.
