Rishi Sunak will be Britain's first Indian-origin PM. After Liz Truss's resignation, Conservative Party MPs elected Rishi Sunak as their new leader in the Tory leadership election. Penny Mordaunt, who stood in the party's election before Rishi, got the support of very few MPs, after which she dropped herself from the race for the post of Prime Minister.
