New Delhi: The fourth phase of lockdown has been implemented across the country from today ie 18 May. The news of relief is that this time even in the Red Zone, e-commerce companies have been allowed to supply unnecessary goods. So from today, people of Red Zone cities like Delhi will also be able to order online everything including mobile, TV and other things of necessity. However, companies are still awaiting clear instructions from the state governments.

In fact, during the fourth phase of lockdown, the central government has now left the decision to set red, orange, green zone. Also, buffer and containment zones have been created. In the instructions of the Ministry of Home Affairs, it has been clearly said that apart from the things which are banned, all other businesses or activities can be run. This time the e-commerce service has not been placed in the banned list, and will be banned only in the Containment Zone. As before, only essential goods can be supplied in the Containment Zone.

However, Flipkart, Amazon etc. are not taking orders in Delhi right now, because it is for the state government to determine which area will come in the container zone. Once the situation is clear about this and after getting clear instructions from the state government, companies can start taking orders. It is expected that the situation in this regard will become clear on Monday itself.
