Shillong: Earthquake tremors were felt in northeast India around 8 pm on Monday night. Earthquake tremors were felt in Guwahati and other parts of Assam. According to preliminary information, the intensity of the earthquake is being reported as 5.1. Apart from Assam in northeast India, people felt tremors in Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur and other parts of Mizoram.

Earthquake tremors occurred at around 8.15 pm on Monday night. According to preliminary information, the epicenter of the earthquake is being told in Manipur. The epicenter of the earthquake is being reported about 11 kilometers south of Kakching in Manipur. However, no information of any kind of loss of life or property has been revealed due to the earthquake. Let me tell you that many times earthquake tremors have been felt in Delhi-NCR before this.

Many times earthquake tremors have been felt in the national capital in the last few days. On May 15, there was an earthquake shock in Delhi. However, the earthquake's intensity on the Richter scale was measured to be only 2.2. Earlier on May 10, earthquake tremors were felt at around 1.45 pm in the afternoon. Its intensity was recorded at 3.5 on the Richter scale.
