Rajkot: Earthquake tremors have been felt for the second consecutive day in Gujarat. At 12.57 minutes on Monday afternoon, Earth once again shook by an earthquake in Rajkot, Gujarat. The earthquake recorded a magnitude of 4.4 on the Richter scale. The epicentre of the quake is said to be located 83 km from Rajkot. People came out of their homes after the earthquake struck. Earlier, there was an earthquake in Gujarat at around 8 pm on Sunday night. The intensity of the earthquake was recorded at 5.5 on the Richter scale. However, no damage has been reported.

Earlier on Saturday morning, earthquake tremors were felt in Bikaner. Suddenly, a stampede occurred in the people as the earth trembled. However, there was no news of the loss of life or property. At 10.26 am on Saturday, the epicentre of the earthquake in Bikaner was reported to be located 30 degrees north and 69.5 degrees east, and the depth of the earthquake was recorded 35 kilometres in the land.

The earthquake tremors were felt in Bikaner on Saturday morning, told by the New Delhi-based Earthquake Meter Center. The Richter Scale recorded an earthquake of 4.3. According to the experts of the centre, the earthquake caused by movements in the ground plates in the Aravalli ranges has been said to be the major cause. After earthquake intensity on the Richter scale, there is a possibility of earthquake aftershock.
