ECB to Investment in Women's cricket amid Corona outbreak

A high official of the England and Wales Cricket Board said that despite the economic repercussions of the corona virus epidemic, funds will be reserved for heavy investment in women's cricket.

Claire Conor, managing director of women's cricket at the ECB, said that there is no guarantee but the board is committed to investing millions of pounds for the development of women's and junior women's cricket. He said, "I am confident that we will try our best." There is a strong will to protect investment in women's cricket.

Cricketers and clubs have organized more than 200 initiatives to help their neighbors, ranging from charity runs to food delivery. So far, more than 35,000 people have died in the UK due to the Coron virus and the games have been stopped. Connor, who captained England during his playing days, said, "We are a very small part of a huge, difficult battle."
