Lucknow: Enforcement Directorate (ED) has raided the house of former cabinet minister Gayatri Prasad Prajapati, who is imprisoned in a sexual exploitation case. About half a dozen officers are present at Gayatri's house located in Amethi's Housing Development Colony. The ED team from Allahabad is conducting a thorough investigation at home. Gayatri Prasad Prajapati's son Anil Prajapati was arrested last week.

Anil Prajapati has many cases registered with forgery, cheating, for which Lucknow police was looking for him for a long time. Anil Prajapati was supposed to visit his father during his court appearance. He was arrested from Hazratganj. It is noteworthy that Brij Bhavan Chaubey, a former acquaintance of Gayatri and working in his company, lodged an FIR against the former minister and his son at the Gomti Nagar Extension police station.

While giving the information, the Lucknow police said that on December 17, the police station of Gomti Nagar Extension, No. 163/2020 Section 506/386/388/419/420/467/468/471 / 120B, Wanted accused in Indian Penal Code, Anil Kumar Prajapati son Gayatri Prasad Prajapati resident LGL Housing Development Colony Police Station Kotwali Nagar district Amethi was arrested from Hazratganj intersection.
