Dhaka: On the occasion of Eid Al-aadha, civilians of Dhaka witnessed a horrible sight that has left the whole world stunned.

There were streams of water, blood-red in colour found running on streets of Dhaka.The widely done animal sacrifice, heavy downpour and clogged drainages were the reasons why rivers of blood were flowing throughout the city.

Instead of that, the city was indulged, tending to the rituals of the festival, attending mosques, offering prayers and meeting friends and family.

Khandker Millatul Islam, a management official confirmed that, “waterlogging has been a problem in the city for a long time and that they are now working on it”.

496 and 504 spots for slaughter were offered by the two major cities in Dhaka, but some slaughtered them in their garages, in front of their houses or any place comfortable.
