Guwahati: The terror of Corona in Assam is not taking its name, the number of patients is increasing rapidly day by day. The state health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has said that after the arrival of 1,272 new cases in the state on Sunday, the total number of corona infected has reached 90,740. At the same time, after the death of 8 more coronas of the corona, the figure of the dead in the state reached 224. The minister has said that 18,345 samples have been examined in the last 24 hours and so far 19,72,149 samples have been tested in the state.

He further said that so far 67,641 people have become corona free in the state while 22,854 patients are undergoing treatment. Meanwhile, the state government has said that it has no objection to the restrictions being implemented from 26 August to 4 September to prevent the spread of corona in the same way as their deputy commissioners in Kochhar, Highlakandi and Karamiganj district.

In many states of India, Corona has spread fast. Now the total number of cases of corona infection in the country has exceeded 31 lakhs and the number of deaths has gone up to more than 57.5 thousand. According to the latest data released by the Ministry of Health, during the last 24 hours, 61 thousand 408 cases of corona have been reported and 836 people have died.
