These days almost every film called for Boycott from Akshay Kumar’s Rakshabandhan, Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha, Prabhas’s Adipurush, and now Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan for hurting religious sentiments. Political leaders also played very big roles in these trends. Various leaders also making remarks on movies for hurting religious sentiments. The Home Minister of Madhya Pradesh Narrottam Mishra remains in news for making remarks on various films.

Now Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday asked Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers to refrain from making unnecessary remarks on irrelevant issues such as movies like movies, a message that comes amid controversies around Bollywood flicks.  Not only this he also talk about that one BJP leader who gave his views on every single movie without naming the leader Modi asked him to stop making such comment. This came after Suniel Shetty’s request from Modi and Yogi to help the industry against this Boycott trends.

In the BJP National Executive meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi advised that one leader to stay away from film matters without taking his name. In the meeting, the PM advised the leaders to avoid making statements on films. Narendra Modi said Ek Neta hai Jo Filmo Par Bayan Dete Rehte Hai. (There is a leader who keeps giving statements on films), his statements keep going on TV.

PM feels that he is becoming a leader, party president JP Nadda also called him, but he does not understand. What is the need to give a statement on every film. Prime Minister Narendra Modi's advice is being seen linked with Narrottam Mishra who recently slams Shah Rukh Khan's film 'Pathan'.  After this various BJP leaders also raised questions about the color of actress Deepika Padukone's clothes in a song from the film.

This came after MP’s Minister Narrotam Mishra said, “I feel the title of the song 'Besharam Rang' is also objectionable in its sense. The song is made with a contaminated mentality, the actor and the actress are clad in green and saffron clothes in an objectionable manner.” The Leader of Opposition in Madhya Pradesh Assembly Govind Singh has also expressed his anger on the costumes in the song. "The scenes of the song and costumes are highly objectionable. Such things are not acceptable in Indian culture."
