New Delhi: On the last day of the BJP's National Executive meeting, PM Narendra Modi has cleared the agenda for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. He said that there are 400 days left for the elections, in such a situation, every voter in every village has to be reached for social harmony. While giving advice to the BJP leaders, Prime Minister Modi said that they should not make wrong statements about Muslims. At the same time, Modi asked the workers to reach out to Pasmanda Muslims, and Bohra Muslims. The Prime Minister said that whether someone votes for us or not, but make contact with everyone.

Let us tell you that for the first time, Narendra Modi did not insist on connecting Pasmanda Muslims with the party, but while holding the post of Chief Minister in Gujarat, he started trying to make inroads among the Muslim vote bank. Instead of connecting the entire Muslim society, he focused on Pasmanda and Bohra Muslims. In this strategy, BJP had also benefited in Gujarat and even after coming to Delhi from Chief Minister to Prime Minister, Modi kept insisting on taking Muslims along with this section. Prior to Delhi, due to the meeting of BJP's national executive in Hyderabad, Prime Minister Modi had given a mantra to connect Pasmanda Muslims, who are considered backward among Muslims, with the party. There itself, Now along with Pasmanda Muslims, Bohra Muslims have also been included and insisted on connecting them with the party. In such a situation, we are going to tell you who is Bohra and Pasmanda Muslims and why BJP wants to bring them closer to them.

Among Muslims, Pasmanda Muslims are very backward socially-economically-politically-educationally whereas Bohra Muslims are considered to be very prosperous, elite, and educated. Modi made policies according to the convenience of businessmen in Gujarat, which became a major reason for the Bohra community to join him, while he tried to connect Pasmanda Muslims by giving them the benefits of public welfare schemes. Even when he was the Chief Minister in Gujarat, Bohra Muslims stood with Modi, and even today when Modi is in the post of Prime Minister, this section is still close to him, but in the states outside Gujarat, the Bohra community has still not been able to join the BJP. In order to strengthen his social engineering in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Modi has spoken of reconciliation with the Bohra community and Pasmanda Muslims.
