Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk took to Twitter shortly after Parag Agrawal, an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, was named Chief Technology Officer (CEO) of Twitter, to praise Indian talent in the United States. According to Musk, India's brilliance benefits the United States significantly. Musk made the comment while responding to Stripe CEO Patrick Collison's tweet.

"Google, Microsoft, Adobe, IBM, Palo Alto Networks, and now Twitter are all led by Indian-born executives. It's inspiring to see Indians achieve incredible success in the technology industry, and it serves as a nice reminder of the opportunities that America provides to immigrants. (Way to go, Parag Agrawal.) "Collison penned the piece. "Indian talent benefits the United States enormously!" Musk later tweeted. In case you didn't know, Parag Agrawal will succeed Jack Dorsey as CEO in 2022. Agrawal joins a small club of Indian-origin CEOs who lead technology businesses in the United States.

Sundar Pichai, the CEO of Google and its parent firm Alphabet, Satya Nadella of Microsoft, Arvind Krishna of IBM, and Shantanu Narayen of Adobe are among them. Dorsey will remain on the Board of Directors until the 2022 annual meeting of stockholders, when his term will come to an end. Since 2017, Agrawal has served as Chief Technology Officer of Twitter, where he has worked for more than a decade.
