Washington - The world's richest man Elon Musk said in a tweet that he was ready to sell $6 billion worth of Tesla shares immediately. He said this after a statement by David Beasley, director of the World Food Program of the United Nations (UN). In fact, Besley said that the world's hunger problem could end if people like Elon Musk go ahead and help.

Notably, David Beasley recently gave his opinion on eliminating hunger from the world in an interview. He said that Jeff Bezos) and Elon Musk, the world's two richest people, need to come forward for it. Besley further said that, with the help of their (Musk and Bezos) "outright" payments, global starvation can be resolved. 4.2 million people need $6 billion to assist. Researcher Dr. Eli David posted a screenshot of the interview on Twitter, to which Alan Musk responded to Beasley.

Responding to Besley, Alan Musk said in a tweet that if the UN World Food Program can explain how $6 billion (more than Rs. 450 billion) could eliminate the world's hunger problem, he is willing to sell $6 billion worth of Tesla company shares immediately. At the same time, Musk also said that all this should be in front of the public so that people can see where and how the money is being spent. Musk said that when $8.4 billion was collected in 2020, why was "starvation not resolved"? Responding to Musk, Besley said, "We never said that $6 billion will end the world's hunger." It's just an outright donation to save the lives of 42 million people during this unprecedented crisis. Significantly, according to a report, Alan Musk's wealth is still more than $300 billion and he is the world's richest man.
