Encephalitis kills 175 children in Bihar, now found in Muzaffarpur hospital

Patna: Male skeletons have been found behind the famous hospital in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. The Srikrishna Medical College and Hospital in Muzaffarpur has been under discussion for quite some time due to mismanagement. In Muzaffarpur, 108 children have died so far due to Acute Encephalitis Syndrome (AES) or Chamki fever. So far, 175 children have died from AES across Bihar.

According to ANI, several pieces of male skeletons have been found behind the hospital. The hospital administration has asked for an inquiry into the matter. SK Shahi, Medical Superintendent of Srikrishna Medical College and Hospital, said, "The post-mortem belongs to the principal. I will discuss with the principal and ask for a committee to look into the matter. Several veteran leaders have arrived here after the death toll of children due to Chamki fever has risen."

Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar has also visited the hospital recently.  Even after that, there are many questions about the discovery of the pieces of male skeleton around the hospital. Many people have raised questions on social media after photos of the fragments of male skeletons surfaced. Some users have even written that male skeletons were not thrown away to hide the figures of deaths.
