Lucknow: A few hours before the swearing-in ceremony of CM Yogi Adityanath, a crook has been killed in an encounter in the capital Lucknow. The name of this miscreant is Rahul Singh and Lucknow Police has killed him in the encounter in Hasanganj area. Rahul Singh was accused of the Aliganj Jewelers robbery case. He had killed an employee during this robbery.

According to the information received, Rahul Singh, a reward of one lakh rupees, was surrounded by Lucknow Police in Hasanganj area at 4 am on Friday. After this, firing started from both the sides. Rahul Singh was injured in the encounter on Bandha Road of Aliganj police station area. He was admitted to the trauma center, where he died. Let us tell you that Rahul Singh was the main accused of robbery in broad daylight in a jewelery shop in Aliganj last year. The looted jewelery has also been recovered from the jewelery showroom from Rahul's possession. Along with this, the police have also recovered pistol and several live cartridges from him.

At present, the body of Rahul Singh has been sent for post-mortem. Let us inform that after the return of the Yogi government in Uttar Pradesh, the action against the criminals has started.
