New Delhi: The second Test between India and England is scheduled to begin on February 13 at Chepak ground in Chennai. England has already announced their 12 players before the match. Dom Bess, James Anderson, Jofra Archer and Jos Buttler will not play the second Test for England. England has included five new players for the second Test. Moin Ali, Ben Fox and Stuart Broad are confirmed to play in the second Test. Chris Woakes and Ollie Stone will be part of the playing XI in the second Test.

Dom Bais, James Anderson and Jos Buttler have been dropped from England as part of a strategy to relax their players. However, Jofra Archer will not be able to play the second Test due to injury. Jos Butler will no longer play the remaining three matches as he has returned to England. Ben Fox will be England's leading wicketkeeper in the remaining three Tests.

Moin Ali will play in the second Test in place of Dom Bais. Stuart Broad will replace Anderson. One player from Chris Woakes or Ollie Stone will be included in the team in place of Jofra Archer. England has not made any change in the rest of the team. Rory Burns and Lawrence will play in the second Test despite poor performances.
