New Delhi: The second Test match between India and England will be played at the M Chidambaram Stadium (Chepauk ) in Chennai from Saturday. Team India is under pressure due to defeat in the first match. The first match of the series was also played at Chepauk Stadium. The second one is also being played here. Test matches have been held in India for 87 years. This is the first time since then that Team India will play two consecutive test matches of a series at home on the same ground.

The first Test match was played at an empty stadium, but the second Test will be played with an audience capacity of 50 percent. Team India played in the country or abroad, it gets the support of most of the spectators. The Indian cricket team will again be able to get this support in the second Test. Large crowds of spectators gathered outside the stadium on Thursday to redeem the tickets online. There was also no adherence to social distancing.

The viewers will be monitored by CCTV cameras, Tamil Nadu Cricket Association secretary Ramaswamy told that one seat will be kept vacant between every two people. CCTV cameras have also been installed to monitor social distancing norms. The spectators will only be able to carry mobiles inside the stadium. The umpire will sanitize him after the ball goes into the stands. People's temperature will be checked at all 17 entry gates.
