Patna: A complete liquor ban is in force in Bihar, but the incidents of deaths due to spurious liquor are not taking the name of stopping. Now, two persons have died after consuming spurious liquor in Pathra village near former Bihar CM Jitan Ram Manjhi's assembly constituency (Imamganj), while the condition of 10 persons is critical. However, the death due to consumption of spurious liquor has not yet been confirmed by the administration.
The case pertains to Pathra village in the Gaya district where more than a dozen Mahadalit family members consumed spurious liquor last night. Thereafter, 2 persons died while 10 others are critical. The victims have been admitted to Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College Hospital for treatment.

According to the news, on Monday night, all the people consumed alcohol after which suddenly their health deteriorated. After the condition worsened, he was admitted to a nearby health centre where 2 persons died during treatment while 7 people are undergoing treatment. After the condition of two people became more serious, they have been admitted to Magadh Medical College Hospital in Gaya for better treatment.
