However this does not go well with her fans they started trolling Sona. Not only this her Fans also started a campaign 'evil eyes off Shehnaaz Gill’.

Her fans also demanded to unfollow Sona and blocked her.  One user wrote, "God bless you... you are stronger than you think." Another fan seemingly slammed Sona, and tweeted, "Jalne walo you can't stop her... fly high my queen..." A fan also tweeted, "Always stay blessed Shehnaaz Gill, you are a fighter, keep going dear."  Other wrote, "You focus on your work..." The fourth one wrote, "The block button is useful. Please use it..."

It all started with Sona’s tweet where she referred to Shehnaaz's viral video of Azaan and wrote, “All the Twitter adulation for #ShehnaazGiII’s act of ‘respect’ today reminded me of her ‘support’, ‘reverence’ & ‘glorification’ of a multiple accused sex offender & pervert #SajjidKhan when he was platformed on National TV.Wished she had some respect for her sisterhood. #MeToo,” 

When one fan of Shehnaaz asked her why she is only slamming Shehnaaz Gill. Meanwhile, there are also other Big celebrities who are supporting him. Sona added, “Dear trolls trying to stand up for yet another starlet like Jacqueline (Fernandez), I don’t know what Shehnaz’s particular talent is as of now, apart from low-brow reality tv fame. But I do know the modus operandi of women of convenience, shortcuts who bust the good fight for a role/money.”
