Amravati: Underground mining department is moving towards reforms. Mineral exploitation, illegal mining and transportation have been targeted to increase revenue. Vigilance checks are intensified and mineral exploiters are being charged with a huge penalty. The authorities who have been indirectly involved in irregularities are also strict. 'If you rob mineral resources, don't let anyone go. Act strictly and take steps to increase the revenue of the treasury. If you are found to be cooperating with the akramakaras, whip up the authorities," the underground mines minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy said.

As part of transparency and accountability, the government is implementing the online application and sanction system. The online system does not have to run to the authorities to get quarry leases, permits and transit passes. Apply ing from home or office. Officials examine computers and give permission online. Lessee can download them. Transit passes are issued only to vehicles with online tracking. On the other hand, the tender system has been implemented for silica sand leases in Nellore district with the aim of increasing revenue.

During the previous government, TDP leaders and benami leasers have been excavated without paying royalty and other fees and illegally dug granite and rs.1000 crores. The director of the mines department has issued demand notices to pay the royalty and the offender fee, which was found to be heavily hit by the government's revenue. In prakasam district alone, 105 people have been issued demand notices. The government has also taken disciplinary action against some assistant directors for alleged lying in the wrong. So that the steel on the marks is not a strong signal.
