Farmani Naaz became popular by recreating the song Har Har Shambut. She enjoys a massive fan following. She came into the limelight with Indian Idol and 'Har-Har Shambhu Geet'. According into information Farmani’s family turned out to be the kingpins of a robbing gang.  Sardhana police have arrested eight people including Farmani's brother and brother-in-law. Her father fled away.  

Eight people, including Arman, brother of YouTuber Farmani Naaz, a resident of Mohammad Lohadda, Muzaffarnagar, were arrested by the Sardhana police station on Monday in connection with the robbery. Two quintal bars have been recovered on his spot. This gang has admitted to carrying out the robbery from many places including the under construction tank located in Teharki village.

The singer 's father Arif and brother-in-law Irshad are also said to be involved in this gang. According to SSP Rohit Singh Sajwan, about a month ago, the watchman was robbed by taking hostage on the water tank being built in Teharki village. The miscreants had also robbed the watchman's mobile. When the Sardhana police investigated, the names of some people came to the fore.

The members of the Saria robbery gang were going to commit a crime in Khirwa Jalalpur. Then the police laid siege and arrested Anuj, Monu, Shakir, Irshad, Shahrukh, resident of Teharki village Sardhana and Armaan, resident of Mohammadpur Lohadda Muzaffarnagar. The looted bars were also recovered on the behest of the accused. Farmani's brother Armaan and brother-in-law Irshad were running the gang. Arif was hiding the weapons of theft and robbery.
