New Delhi: Farmers' agitation is going on at Delhi's Tikri border. Farmers celebrated the birthday of Dhanna Seth Jat on Tuesday and appealed to all sections of the society to extend all help in the farmers' movement. Farmers said thousands of farmers from Punjab will reach Tikri border on Wednesday. These farmers have come together with the efforts of the Bharatiya Kisan Union (Ugrahan). The convoy of farmers will start from Khanori in Sangrur district and reach Tikri border via Jind.

The number of farmers at the Tikri Border Meeting on Tuesday was good. There were no fewer women among them. All the speakers in the House appealed to the farmers to remain united. Seth Dhanna Jat was remembered in the house. The speaker said that Dhanna was a devotee of God. He did hard penance to get God. Donated generously. Even starving himself, he did not stop sacrificing.

Farmer leader Sukhjinder Singh from Punjab said that we farmers walk on the path shown by such Dhanna Seth. Like Dhanna, the farmers did not learn to retreat with the help of the needy. Farmer Ram Singh from Jind district narrated the story of Seth Dhanna Jat. The farmers present in the House listened to the whole story with determination.
