Amritsar: The farmers' agitation has come to an end after the Centre withdrew three agricultural laws, but farmers in Punjab are still camping on the streets. Farmers of Punjab are agitating against rail roko over their various demands including jobs, waivers. Due to which rail traffic is affected. According to reports, farmers in Punjab have taken to the streets against the government for labourers, debt waiver, jobs and other demands.

 

 

Agitating farmers have started dharna demonstrations on the Amritsar-Delhi railway track. Due to this, Indian Railways has had to cancel many trains, while some have been terminated. More than 40 trains running from the Ferozepur division of Northern Railway have been cancelled due to the agitation. North Western Railway Chief Public Relations Officer Captain Shashi Kiran has said that the services of some trains have been affected due to farmers agitation. Passengers who are planning to go somewhere must know the status of the train before travelling. Otherwise, there may be problems in the journey. Some trains from their initial station, while some trains are partially affected.

Meanwhile, Northern Railway has reported the impact of trains through tweets. According to which, in addition to Ferozepur Division, trains of Jalandhar-Amritsar section, Jalandhar-Pathankot section and Ferozepur-Bathinda section will be affected. Trains on these sections have either been cancelled or partially cancelled.
