Farmers' Protest Continues: Traffic Affected as Key Border Points Remain Closed: The farmers' 'Delhi Chalo' protest has entered its third day on February 15, with significant border points between Delhi and Haryana still closed. Only the Ghazipur border has allowed movement, causing traffic disruptions in the capital.

As reported, two crucial border points connecting Delhi and Haryana, namely Tikri and Singhu, are still shut for traffic. Security personnel are deployed across Delhi, equipped with anti-riot gear.

While movement is permitted through the Ghazipur border, monitored by security forces, the Tikri and Singhu borders remain inaccessible. Delhi Police have set up multiple layers of barricades, barbed wires, and concrete blocks to deter the entry of protesters.

At the Shambhu border between Punjab and Haryana near Ambala, protesting farmers have been halted by the Haryana Police. In central Delhi, barricades are erected, especially leading to Parliament and other sensitive areas.

Traffic movement at the Ghazipur border is affected due to barricades, although passage from both sides remains open. Streets connecting Sonipat in Haryana to Delhi near the Singhu border have been dug up to impede protesters.

Authorities advise students to leave early for exams as traffic disruptions persist, particularly in border areas. Security personnel at the Singhu border have tested the Long Range Acoustic Device (LRAD) to disperse crowds.

Delhi Police have tightened security measures, learning from past experiences. In response to the protest, strict traffic restrictions have been imposed at border areas, including Singhu, Ghazipur, and Tikri.

Farmer leaders plan to meet three Union ministers in Chandigarh to discuss their demands, including a legal guarantee on Minimum Support Price and a loan waiver.

As the protest continues, farmers urge the Centre to address their grievances and meet their demands.
