Ludhiana: 70-year-old man has been booked for raping his daughter for the past more than 20 years. The convict works in a factory.

The man started raping her daughter in 1994, when she was 16 years old and after that he raped her many times.

Victim said in a statement that, “she got married about 10 years ago, but was later divorced, and even after marriage, her father continued to rape her whenever he found her alone and threatened her with dire consequences if she revealed it to anyone.”

On Sunday, the accused was booked under sections 376 (rape), 328 (causing hurt by means of poi son, etc with intent to commit an offence) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC. The convict is absconding.
