Shimla: A father committed suicide after raping his minor daughter. When the girl informed the family members about it, the father ended his life. The police have reached the spot and filed a case under the POCSO Act in this regard. The dead body of the deceased has been sent to RH Bilaspur for post mortem.

According to the information, a case has come out in a village of Shri Nayana Devi ji that has embarrassed the relatives. Here, a father raped his daughter in a state of intoxication, and later laid down her life in a closed room. Police has sent the minor to RH for medical treatment. Police said that the criminal deceased had raped his minor daughter earlier in the house. When the girl told her family members about the whole incident, the culprit committed in a closed room. The child's mother is living elsewhere except all her children.

He was living with a father with two daughters and a son. While a daughter lives close to her maternal grandparents. After the complaint of the family, the police station coat team reached the spot and filed the statements of the family and the victim, and also took the body of the deceased. DSP Shri Nayana Devi Ji Sanjay Sharma said that in this connection, the police station has filed a case under Section 376, 506 of the IPC and Section 4 of the POCSO Act in the police station. Also, the investigation of the case is going on continuously.
