According to information received from sources, the Sharjah's government media office said on Tuesday night that a fire broke out in a residential tower in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, where the fire was controlled after getting information. The media office tweeted, "Seven people suffered minor injuries in the fire in the tower in Al Nahda area of Sharjah and have been taken to hospital." In the video shown on social media, there is a fierce fire in the tower.

The local media described this building as a 48-storey Abco Tower. However, the footage was not confirmed by Reuters. The Sharjah Media Office said that the residents of the tower were evacuated. They have not yet told what was the cause of the fire.
