The releases of former Chief Minister and President of Peoples Democratic Party Mehbooba Mufti and his maternal uncle Sartaj Madni, as well as National Conference General Secretary Ali Mohammad Sagar, was postponed for three months. The state administration has extended the period of detention of the three leaders under the Public Safety Act (PSA) by three months.
