New Delhi: Biman Prasad, the Deputy Prime Minister of Fiji, has embarked on a significant journey to India, starting with a week-long visit that commenced on Sunday. During this visit, Prasad is set to become the first foreign leader to pay respects at the Ram temple in Ayodhya.

Arriving in New Delhi late on Sunday night, Prasad was warmly received by Paramita Tripathi, representing the Ministry of External Affairs' JS Indo Pacific. The welcoming gesture underscores the strengthening ties between India and Fiji.
