New Delhi: Senior journalist and filmmaker BA Raju has died of a heart attack today. He breathed his last this morning at a hospital in Hyderabad. The news of his demise has sent shock waves through the Telugu film industry. He has two sons while his wife died two years ago. His wife B Jaya was a well-known film director.
Film producer BA Raju was an integral part of the day-to-day business and Telugu film industry. He was also the founder and editor of popular Telugu film magazine Superhit. He also handled PR for hundreds of films in his 40-year long lamba career. He has also been a private PRO of superstar Mahesh Babu. He had also worked as PRO for several leading stars, production houses and actresses. BA Raju has been PRO of several stars including Prabhas Pattan, Nagarjuna and Junior NTR.
Mahesh Babu has paid tribute to this great personality through a tweet. He tweeted, "I am deeply hurt by the sudden demise of BA Raju and it is difficult for me to believe it. We both have known each other since childhood. We worked together for many years.''
