In fact, recently, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel made a statement saying, "There is no one above the law.'' Even if he is my 86-year-old father. The Chhattisgarh Government respects people of every caste, every religion, every section of every community. In fact, the CM's father had said objectionable things about the Brahmin community and that is why an FIR is going to be lodged against him. The Brahmin community has been outraged since Nand Kumar Baghel's statement as part of the information received.

Addressing the workers of Bastar division on the last day of the camp here, party state in-charge D Purandeshwari had said, "Once BJP workers spit back, Bhupesh Baghel and his entire cabinet will be swept away.'' Now, on his same statement, the Chief Minister has hit back and said, "Purandeswari's mental state has come down to this level after he joined the BJP.''
