A fire broke out at a furniture market in Delhi's Kirti Nagar on Wednesday causing a hue and cry among the people. Fire department vehicles rushed to the spot to control the fire. So far, no casualty has been reported in the incident. "More than 30 trains are at the spot," a Delhi Fire Department official said. The fire is currently under control. The cooling operation is on. 

Safdarjung Hospital also caught fire: According to reports, a fire broke out at Delhi's Safdarjung Hospital a few days ago. The fire broke out in the ward ICU causing a lot of damage. No patient or staff casualty was reported. 50 patients were admitted at the time of the incident in the ICU ward where the fire broke out. All of them have been safely evacuated and shifted to other wards. According to Delhi Fire Service officials, nine fire tenders were sent to the spot to douse the fire.

More than 20 huts burnt in Okhla: Janha It is learned that a major fire broke out in Okhla area of the capital Delhi about a month ago. The fire broke out late at 2 pm, which was extinguished by 27 fire brigade trains. No one was reported to have been killed in the incident but more than 20 huts were burnt to ashes. The fire broke out in Sanjay Colony area of Okhla Phase 2. According to reports, people had set up a clothing clipping godown in the area. About 186 slums and godowns were on fire in the accident.
