Safed Haathi - In the year 1977, the children's film White Elephant once again showed the friendship between elephant and human. Main Aur Mera Hathi - In Mithun Chakraborty's film Main Aur Mera Hathi in 1981, it was told that friendship between man and elephant has always been special. In this film, Mithun, whose name is Ram, carries an elephant, which he calls Laxman. After that, there is love between the two like brothers and then Ram goes out to study. The goons kill Ram's father. Later both Ram and Laxman avenge the father's death.

Dost - In 1989, another film by Mithun Chakraborty based on the relationship between elephant and human came, called 'Dost'. In this film, Mithun played the role of a forest officer who prevents illegal felling in the forest. He saves an elephant trapped in the jaws of a crocodile and due to this the elephant rescues Mithun's family from the goons.

The story of this film revolves around a vet, who returns to his father's elephant reserve, during which he encounters a predator racket and fights to save his elephants.
