New Delhi: Flipkart co-founder Sachin Bansal has been accused of dowry harassment, his wife Priya Bansal has filed a complaint against Sachin. In which, on the complaint of Priya, on February 28, an FIR has been filed in Koramangala Police Station, Bengaluru. Apart from Sachin, the police have also registered a case against his father Sat Prakash Agarwal, brother Nitin Bansal and mother Kiran Bansal seeking dowry. Sachin Bansal's father Satprakash Aggarwal is a nominated counselor in Chandigarh Municipal Corporation. Sat Prakash Aggarwal has not been attending the corporation's meeting for the last 3 months.

Priya Bansal has told the police in her complaint that her father had spent Rs 50 lakh in marriage and gave Rs 11 lakh cash to Sachin. Priya alleges that now-husband Sachin is pressurizing her to register properties in her name and her in-laws have started harassing her for refusing to do so. In the complaint, Priya has also accused her husband and in-laws of physical and sexual violence.

Priya has told in her complaint that, 'After marriage, I wanted to live with my husband, but before that my in-laws came to my house and started demanding more dowry. My husband and in-laws are mentally and physically tortured. When my sister was in Delhi, her husband Sachin sexually abused her. Sachin tried to transfer the properties registered in my name and he beat me when I agreed. My in-laws are also harassing me. After the complaint on this matter, the police have told that they will soon question Sachin Bansal and his family in the case. According to the police, a case has been filed under sections 498a and 314DP and the investigation is going on. The accused family is out of the city recently and will be questioned on arrival.
