Hero is diligently pursuing electric two-wheelers. On October 7th, they will introduce their first electric two-wheeler to the Indian market under the new sub-brand Vida. It is anticipated that Vida's electric scooter would include modular charging, allowing for interchangeable portable batteries. It's possible that Vida may permit the user to remove the battery and charge it at home.
In addition, Vida claims to offer a "variety of best-in-class features," albeit they have not yet disclosed a complete feature list. The business promises to bring the "future of mobility" and claims that the electric scooter "would be the most thrilling way to get around, no matter where you're headed."

Due to supply chain issues and a scarcity of semiconductors, the scooter's July debut date was postponed. In March of this year, as part of the celebrations for the 10th anniversary, the Vida sub-brand was introduced. It is anticipated that the scooter will be produced in the Andhra Pradesh-based Chitoor manufacturing site.
The new scooter's teasers have already begun to circulate online. The electric scooter offered by Vida won't be a low-speed model. Accordingly, the electric scooter would be capable of reaching speeds of more than 25 kmph. The electric scooter is actually anticipated to be targeted toward commuters. As a result, Ather 450X, Ola S1 Pro, Bajaj Chetak, and TVS iQube would be Vida's rivals.
