Shimla: For the first time in the country's state of Himachal Pradesh, at the sub-divisional level, about 6 recruitment examinations including HAS will be taken. In the midst of COVID-19 crisis, the State Public Service Commission has taken the initiative to follow social distancing and facilitate the candidates. Apart from this, the recruitment examinations of Tehsil Welfare Officer, Assistant Manager in Cooperative Bank, Executive Officer and Secretary in Municipal Bodies will also be taken at sub-divisional level.

In the same preparations for these exams to be held in September and October, the Public Service Commission has gathered. Also, till now the Commission has been taking big recruitment examinations only in two to three districts of the state. During the COVID-19 this year, the Commission has had to bring changes. In such a situation, the commission has decided to take the state administrative service exam to be held in September at the subdivision level.

Ashutosh Garg, the secretary of the same commission, said that permission has been received from the government. Soon, with the help of the district administration, the work of making examination centers at subdivision level will start. Along with this, exam centers will be formed in the border areas for the candidates coming for the exams of HAS from the external states. These candidates will get two options to choose the exam center in the border area. Soon, a link will open on the website of the commission. The recruitment of school spokesperson will be the subject of history for the exam on August 16. The commission will take this exam in every district headquarters. On August 23, examination centers are being made in the district headquarters for Hindi exam. With this, this is going to be the first time in the state.
