Dehradun: Four new flights will start from next week at Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun city of Uttarakhand. Three flights IndiGo and one SpiceJet Aviation Company are commencing. The schedule of new flights is fixed. Air services were started from May 25 after the lockdown imposed for COVID-19 infection control. Gradually - air passengers and flights have started to increase.

New flights will start operating from Monday. Airport director DK Gautam told that four new flights are going to start for Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Kolkata and Hyderabad. Schedule for flights is fixed. For Mumbai-Dehradun, the aircraft will arrive at 9.50 am on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and will take a return flight at 10.50 am.

Similarly, on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, the flight will arrive at 6.10 pm and will return at 6.50 pm. For Ahmedabad and Dehradun, the aircraft will arrive at 11.30 am on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and will return at 12 noon. At the same time, the plane for Kolkata-Dehradun will fly on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The aircraft will return to Jollygrant Airport at 2 pm and return at 3 pm. Similarly, the air service will start for Hyderabad Dehradun from 16th September. The aircraft will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Simultaneously all safety rules will also be followed.
