Former New Zealand Captain and stylish cricketer Martin Crow who died Thursday after a long battle with cancer. He laid the foundation of T20 cricket.

 Crowe made his debut in Cricket at the age of 19 in 1982. He belongs to cricket famli as his father played first grade and his brother also the part of New Zealand cricket team. His 13 year cricket career end in 1995.

In 1985 Wisden name him as the best young cricketer in the world. His test average is of 45.36 in 77 matches. Till his retired he give New Zealand wonderful batting records include 5444 test runs, highest test score 299, most 50s i.e 35 and most hundreds which is 17- the last of which he stands.

Australian legendry cricketer Shane Warne ranked him in top 100 test cricketer all time. He says, “ He was such a stylish and elegant player, with a touch of grace and same skills as the best Indian players of pocking up a length very early.”

He was included into hall of fame in March 2015 during the cricket world cup co-hosted by New Zealand. For this he says, ‘ That came as a bit of a shock, I don’t’ know that I really feel I belong to this, but its nice.”

In 2012 he revealed he had suffering from Lymphoma and eight months later he was in remission for cancer in September  2014. World of Cricket lost a legendry cricketer may he rest in peace.
