New Delhi: Even after so much opposition and one day strike nothing has proved to be effective in reducing the price of the fuel. The fuel price maintains its pace and reached to all time on Friday. The price of petrol reached to Rs 81.28 per litre and diesel is at Rs 73.30 per litre in the New Delhi.
The petrol price increased by 28 paise per litre, while the diesel has shown a hike of 22 paise per litre in Delhi. Apart from National Capital, the price of petrol rose to 88.67 and diesel is at 77.82 per litre in Mumbai.
The continue increase in the price of the fuel is affecting greatly on the pocket of the common people. Citizens are opposing the price hike from few days and even congress called for “Bharat band” on September 10 but nothing worked. On increasing question regrading the price hike Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan earlier said that the rise in fuel price in the country is due to international factors, and not under the Centre's control.
According to International Energy Agency (IEA), it is expected that the price of the petrol diesel will not decrease in near future as the supply of the petrol will decrease.
