Fuel prices continue to hike, CNG and LPG Price also increased

After the getting higher prices of petrol and diesel due to rising price of crude oil in the global market, the common people have to face the increased price of LPG cylinder, compressed natural gas (CNG) and piped natural gas (PNG).

The government decided to increase the same due to the escalation of dollar against rupee and the corresponding variation in foreign exchange.

The raised price in LPG, CNG and PNG for common people will also affect increased rates of transportation, electricity and fertilizers.

Today also Petrol in the national capital Delhi increased by Rs 0.24 and it is being sold at Rs 83.73 per litre while Diesel prices increased by Rs 0.30 and it is being retailed by Rs 75.09 per litre .Petrol prices in Mumbai are increased by Rs 0.24 and being sold at Rs 91.08 per litre while Diesel increased by Rs 0.32 and being sold at Rs 79.72 per litre .

In Delhi, today the prices of compressed natural gas (CNG) are Rs 44.30/kg which is hiked by Rs 1.70/kg and Prices of subsidised LPG cylinders at Rs 502.4 per cylinder which is hiked by Rs 2.89/cylinder.

This is the second time that retail price of CNG and PNG have been augmented within a month. On September 1, the price of CNG was raised by 63 paise per kg on the other hand PNG by Rs 1.11.
