New Delhi: Lockdown has been implemented in the country due to Coronavirus. At this time people are in their homes, roads are deserted. Its effect is now visible on the death toll in the country. The report which has come out from the crematorium ghats in different cities of the country shows that there has been a huge decline in the cremation figures since the lockdown was implemented. There are many reasons for this, including heavy shortage in road accident.

In some cities, the last rites are facing a lot of problems. The number of cremations at Nigambodh Ghat, the oldest and largest crematorium in the national capital Delhi, has been halved at this time. Due to Corona virus, the crematorium here is being sanitized twice a day. Whoever is coming there is being urged to follow social distancing. At the same time, if you talk about the cremation ground on Lodhi Road, then there is no provision for sanitization here.

The main reason for the decrease in cremation is being told ...

- Due to the lockdown people are not able to bring the dead bodies from far away.

- If the roads are completely closed, then there has been a significant decline in the accident, hence the reduction in the number of dead.

- It has also been affected due to pollution, cleanliness.
