NEW DELHI: Ahead of his Bahrain tour, Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Sunday took his Twitter handle for admiring the Indian Diaspora from corner to corner of the world.

Gandhi’s scion called the NRIs the real representatives of the nation’s soft power and the brand ambassadors of the country across the world.

"NRIs are the true representatives of our soft power and the brand ambassadors of our nation across the globe," Rahul posted a message on his tweeter handle.

"Looking forward to meeting and addressing fellow countrymen in Bahrain tomorrow”. Congress President Rahul Gandhi  further said on his tweet.

Subsequentaly like Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Congress president Rahul on Monday will deliver his address at an NRI gathering in Bahrain.

This will be his first visit out of the country as the party president and comes to the lead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's trip to the region.

Rahul Gandhi has arrived in the nation today evening and will leave from there on tomorrow.

NRIs from 65 nations are likely to take part in the conclave.

Rahul will also get together to Bahrain Prime Minister Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and other local cream of the crops, afterward in the day, Rahul will also convene local business communities.
