New Delhi: Indian Army Chief General Bipin Rawat has given his response after a warning given to Pakistan by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF). General Rawat has said that after the warning given by the institution, now there is pressure on Pakistan to take action against the terrorists. The FATF has set a deadline for the neighboring country until February 2020 on Friday. In such a time, Pakistan will have to meet the standards set by the institution.

Speaking to the media, General Rawat has said, 'Now the pressure is on them and they have to take action. We want Pakistan to work towards peace. Living in any such grey list is a bad condition for any country. Pakistan has been warned by the organization that if it does not take any action till February, then it will be put in the blacklist.

The FATF says that Pakistan has failed to act on 22 out of 27 points. Pakistan has been in this grey list since June 2018. Pakistan has been told in clear terms that strict action will be taken at the next planning meeting. At the same time, the FATF has appealed to all members to instruct the financial institutions here that special attention should be paid to commercial relations and trade with Pakistan.
