Berlin : Another man was killed by an Afghan man at a refugee camp in Germany. The 25-year-old man carried out the murder with a knife, chanting 'Allahu Akbar'. The age of the deceased is stated to be 35 years. The attacker also injured another German man. The incident took place at Graven in North Rhine Westphalia Stenfurt district. The incident took place on the night of Sunday (July 4, 2021).

The attacker fled the scene after committing the crime. The helicopter was deployed into service to find that. However, it did not take long for the police to find accused and arrest them. He was caught by the police without any struggle. Police and officers have been deployed after the said refugee camp at night following the incident. A paramedical team was called and the injured were treated.

In the case, the public prosecutor said that no motive of the murderer has come to light behind the crime, but a witness confirmed that he was shouting 'Allahu Akbar' before the murder. The murderer had come to Germany six years ago and had been availing the facility of this refugee camp since 2018. While an Azerbaijani man was killed in the incident, the injureds is undergoing treatment at a nearby hospital.
