New Delhi: The Government of India is implementing the Ayushman Bharat scheme to provide affordable health facilities to the citizens of the country's weaker income category. Under this scheme, the government provides free treatment facilities of up to Rs 5 lakh to the citizens. Any person eligible for this scheme can apply both online and offline. Ayushman Bharat is a health scheme of the government, under which the government provides the Ayushman Bharat Golden Card to the citizens.

Who can apply:-
The Ayushman Bharat scheme was launched by PM Narendra Modi in the year 2018. Under this scheme, through the Ayushman Bharat Golden Card, economically weaker citizens can go to hospitals and get their treatment done for free. Any citizen of the country can apply for this scheme.   For this, his age must be 18 years. If one is applying for this scheme by himself, his/her name should be in SECC – 2011.

Register online:-
To register for this scheme online, you have to visit the national health mission portal. Here you will find some essential notes. There will be an option of click here, click on it. Then, a box will open in front of you. There, fill in your mobile number and Aadhaar number and click on submit. Thereafter, the registration form will open in front of you. Fill it out carefully and then click on Submit. Then you got the login. D and password will be received.

Online Application Process:-
After filling out the registration form, come back to the home page. Sign in with your mobile number. You will receive an OTP on the phone. As soon as you verify it, you will open the dashboard in front of you. On the dashboard, you will open the menu. In this, you will get the option of Ayushman Card self-registration. You click on it. Then the application form for Ayushman Bharat will open in front of you. Fill it up carefully. All the documents sought will have to be scanned and uploaded. Finally, click on the Submit button and submit your form. Then, get the receipt.
